I have seen the Mighty Thor and his pet woman. My life is complete.

Ah, heck - if you other folks wanna laugh, you can go there, too.

Okay, so this is what I want to do - I want t oplant some early-blooming bulbs directly in my yard (especially under the willow tree's Big Circle Of Overhang) so in the late winter/early spring I'll have flowers blooming in the yard but by lawn-mowing time, the plants have died back and the grass that is just starting to turn green will be able to grow.

Is that possible? I was thinking of something like Purple Gem Dwarf Iris http://www.paghat.com/irispurplegem.html and Snow Crocuses http://www.paghat.com/snowcrocus.html. I've *heard* that this is possible but I'm a total yard/plant clutz so I'm writing here in hopes that someone who reads my journal will answer and educate me.

And I promise, this is the last journal entry for today!
