Apr. 17th, 2007 12:59 amMay those who have so tragically passed on this day find joy and peace in their new realms while those who have dared to act as measurers of their fellow man's life spans be guided to the place where their own judgment and penance awaits.
Gatherer and Healer of of Souls, comfort those who are without comfort this night, give ease to troubled hearts, restore hope to those who are hopeless and give them the lasting blessing of peace.
[Note: for those who do not recognise her, my icon is the Egyptian Goddess Maat, who embodies peace and fulfillment on earth and acts as a guardian on a soul's journey to the next world. May she guard all of those who have so unexpectedly started that journey this day and spread her peace back upon the land and hearts of those who grieve so deeply.]
