It's 1:30am Friday night (Saturday morning). My SUV is packed. The only things left to toss in there are my pile of blankets, pillows, and this computer - and then I can hit the road for Cooper's Lake.
Neither Arni nor I can figure out why it is that the packing went so quickly and so compactly - I am bringing more stuff than last year but have been working on getting smaller versions of the same equipment (or doing without certain things) and I guess it made a difference. Hoo boy.
Sleep, pedicure, gas up/check tires and I'll be on my way.
Oh - and watch the recorded episode of "Burn Notice" with Arni before I leave. :)
