Again with the pain?

I'm doing something wrong. Again I have pain in my left ear... it's sinus pressure, I know that, but I can't think when it's there. Other pain, I can ignore. This just reduces me to a stupid lump who schleps around the house sliding from staring stupidly into space in bed to staring stupidly at my computer screen, playing solitaire because anything else requires bulling my way past the pain and the fog.

I hate this. There's got to be a way to treat it better than waiting for it to build up and then sudafed-ing the heck out of it while suffering for weeks on end and turning into a chipmunk-talking nervous wreck when guests are over.

*sigh*
I really should be working on Kingdom Arts and Sciences. I wish I could think well enough to do so but even this entry is trying my cognitive abilities (and if you were looking at this before I used the spell-checker, you'd agree.)

And it was so nice to see Marion, Henry, and Aislin - and I was too dumb to do a damb thing right while they were here.

At least the gumbo is made and frozen. (Next, the lumpia for the freezer, then the stew. It's December. That's "cooking season".)
