Better Mood
Dec. 10th, 2007 02:54 amMy previous entry (see "whiney self-indulgent" definition in the dictionary) was brought to you by - a cold. Or at least, I think it's a cold. WebMD says that earaches are pretty common with colds and the treatments seems to be something done just as effectively at home as it is after waiting for hours in a holding pen before seeing a doctor - who will tell you to drink plenty of fluids, rest, take a decongestant, and try to keep things moist by using steam baths and nose sprays. All of which can be done without stirring from the house (since I've already sold Zack to the circus in order to lay in a supply of Sudafed).
I am really glad I listened to my inner whatever-it-was and didn't get too close to Henry Saturday. That baby didn't need my cold. :)
My brain isn't functioning well, still, but I have hope that later on it will. Massive doses of meds can do that, you know. Speaking of that, I should go get some Motrin or Tylonal. I hate taking pills so I've been taking the Sudafed but sort of skipping the other stuff. You know. Hey, maybe I can stuff it up my nose and treat the problem area that way? It worked for that kid in "House", didn't it?
Where's a fireman figure when you need one?
