Happy Sigh

3:20am - I'm putting together the KASF site tokens when my cell phone begins playing Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". Yup - Zack was calling. He thought that he'd be talking to my answering machine and leaving me a "thank you, the birthday gifties got here" message but instead I picked up and said hello.

I am very contented now after a one-hour phone conversation with my far-away son. :)

I promise

... that in 36 hours, I will stop flooding the Kingdom email list with KASF information messages.

Honest. After that, there will only be a Court Report (but not from me!) and a "lost and Found" announcment.

And hey, if you are interested, there aren't any bids in for next year's event yet. Come to this one, take notes about what you'd change, and put a bid in. Everyone should try having this much fun at least once in their SCA career...
