What could slow down wireless Internet reception? Two days ago my laptop, which has been in the same place as always, started getting reception at 11 - 18 Mbps, whereas it had been getting it at 54. Arn's desktop computer, in the other room next to the broadcaster-thingy is still getting it at 54.

Nothing had changed, so far as I know. We have an open network, and that was my first thought, but he is still getting the regular speed.

I am confused. And a tad annoyed. Can it mean that my laptop is failing?
