I'm finally off to bed again. I'd gotten up in the middle of the night to take my long-awaited shower and found that it taxed me more than I'd expected, so I was a puny whiney gurl for a while there - but now I am a clean Puny Whiney Girl!

HA!

And I got some dinner, too, which is fabulous. Da Bossman bought some beef w/veggie soup for me and with judicious dipping of Wonder Bread (yes, I do mean that highly-processed stuff) into it, I can eat what feels like a complete meal. This is only for a little while. And I giggle when I think of Oda, coming to visit, standing in front of the bread department at the store and trying to find the most white-bread-processed-loaf that she can... little granola eater that she is. Thus, the wonderbread. Which I haven't tasted since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. But it works, and I'm grateful.

Atlantian Kingdom Arts & Sciences Festival - this Saturday - is looking further away for me by the hour. Dang it. It is my absolute, most loved Atlantian event. But issues are making it less possible for me to be there. A quick visit to the doctor's office today (one hopes 'today') may help me get my healing back on track. Otherwise, I can't go.

You all who do - take pictures?

Sure enough, Bossman and I were right - I have a surgical infection. Although the doc did say that I looked very well otherwise, and that we'd been treating it correctly. It will be defeated here shortly, assuming the pharmacy ever gets around to filling the perscription. (Are we the only ones with a '45 mins - 2 hour' wait for perscriptions?)

So no KASF for me. Not that my attendance is any big risk, but I shouldn't take a chance on contracting a cold/flu secondary infection on top of this other one where sneezing or coughing is forbidden. And really painful. :)

So everybody have a wonderful time, write really cool notes under your pictures, and... well, it's KASF so I know you'll have a grand time. And if there are anymore 'artifacts in a box' - I wanna hear about it!
