Mar. 2nd, 2011 10:49 amSaw the surgeon today. The good news is that the incision is healing well AND I've been cleared to start "doing things physically, don't forget you'll be weak as a kitten" so I can start picking my life up again. YAY!
The bad news is that the surgeon broached the 'and now it's time for an oncologist' idea. His office is making an appointment for me. At least I know I won't be doing chemo... GISTs don't respond to it. But there's some other stuff that I may have to be doing. I'll find out sometime in the next few weeks.
