The problem with reading medical documents online without a doctor at your elbow is that you may well read things that you weren't quite ready to face.
Here be general 'poor-me wah, wah' grousing as if I haven't been damned lucky all these years anyway )

I got two more heraldry clients. Or rather, one new and one returning. They're both sweet young men, very serious about their SCA play, and I hope that I can help them get exactly what they want - or will want when they're five years older (one guy wants to use the name of an archangel as his first name. No looking at name lists for him! He'd rather invent one and ask me to make it work... don't worry, I'm pretty sure I can help him achieve something that will make him feel proud.)

And today, later on, I go forth to see if I can find a new bathroom scale. And to see if I can find a nice birthday gift for the Bossman, as it is his b'day and I by gawd am going to drive my own car to the store to buy something. You know, shop without him having to hold my elbow as I totter along. Ort at least, that's my plan. :)

What I ought to do, now that I'm really thinking about it, is take him a long and have him show me what kind of tools he'd like to have. Yeah... he loves to have me go with him to Lowe's and I rarely do. Maybe that would be a nice present for him. Or Sears, since it's right next to where we're meeting friends for dinner. Hmmmm.... must think on this. I may have to modify my plan. (Or not, since the Bossman will tell me what he likes, then refuse to let me buy it because it's too expensive, thus forcing me to sneak back and get it at a different time. Or he throws caution to the wind and really buys something! And after watching the Mike Holmes TV shows, I have a better idea of what kind of power tool is good to use.)
