stitchwhichLast year, I put on a costume and sat inside the boughs of our willow tree to hand out candy. This year we rushed home (15 minutes late) to grab the bowl of sweets and just didn't have a chance to decorate the tree or put on a costume.
And I had kids asking me why I wasn't in the tree. "Oh darn! I was hoping you'd be in the tree!"
"I'll do it next year. I promise."
"I won't be here next year. Darn, darn, darn. THat was cool!"
I am SO pleased. Definitely we have to have some fun with the tree next year.
