It Is Allejandro's Fault

Because, yeah - put Pippa & Allejandro in the same space at an event, and the talk turns to... bicycles. And when the Fat Lady, who has been secretly yearning to ride something joins the comversation but bemoans her weight restrictions, up pops Allejandro with a suggestion straight out of her secret heart of hearts. I read the reviews. I think it could handle my weight - and I could afford to buy one (after I finish saving up for my laptop. Which would be in late spring, so that works.)
You know what would be fun? A Steampunk Bicycle Rally & Picnic. (Maybe start out at Point A travelling to Point M, and have various scenic picnic stops along the way, 'catered' by non-riders... there you are, travelling along, and around the bend appears a grill and a copper water-kettle cart with a fine tea selection along side three pristine cloths on the ground surrounded by lush cushions and sporting one housemaid-cook and two waiters... next stop might be on top of a hill (this is modified after Char's comment) with a scenic view dominated by small deuce tables and a lovely salad & fruit selection with chilled sparkling water bottles nestled in baskets full of ice...)
