stitchwhich: (Lego Viking Woman)
1. My Youngest is walking over to join me for lunch this afternoon, when I shall call out for Cal'z Chicken Wings and we shall make a large pile o-bones on the kitchen table. Yum.

2. I should be scanning in heraldic submissions right now.
unless
3. I should be cutting out Thorsberg trous right now. Two pair, which have to be hand-sewn and then dyed before the 28th so I can get them in the mail to Lloyd. He's going to Largs in Scotland! How cool is that?? I don't think he's been to anything very large & Viking outside of a few Canadian gatherings, so this will be a real experience for him. I've got three shirts finished and one in the works. I'm a little worried about the tunic with the embroidery - I'm working too slowly on that one.

4. It looks to be another autumnal beautiful day. Slightly cloudy, but as an Oregonian I appreciate that. The weather is mild and not too humid. What a lovely break! And my violets are thriving...

5. I've learned, since yesterday, that the pain involved after having two toenails removed is far less than what existed before they were worked on. Huh. If I had known that, I would have gotten it taken care of before Pennsic. I do waddle like a penguin right now, though, thanks to the big bandages on each big toe. Luckily they will fit into my regular shoes in a couple of days so I don't have to have those ugly medical boots on for the next four weeks of healing. And then, knock on wood, there will be no more ingrown owies and I can go back to wearing sandals. I miss sandals, I do. Yeah, yeah, a little late for summer this year - but not forever!
