No computer for a while, again

On Sunday my husband bought a new (refurbished) HP all-in-one computer for me as a Giftmas present. The shop is keeping it until I bring my laptop to them and then they will transfer everything from laptop to computer. Because I am a Luddite and otherwise I would lose things like my internet favorites links. So for the next few days I will be relying on my phone for cyber-access. And suddenly my husband wants my laptop. The clerk mentioned that they could replace the drive with a solid state drive and posited that such action would solve the processing problems it has been having. What the heck - if Bossman wants to claim it and dink with making it work, he can. He's had only a desktop his whole computing life. Maybe a laptop will make him happy.

Tomorrow is the dental assessment visit with the oral surgeon. Gawd, I hope it goes well. I also hope that I won't be going through the holiday period with a wad of cotton in the back of my mouth.

This is the end of my break. Back to gift wrapping. I've got to get these gifts in the mail to our sons and their sweeties.
