Good start

In spite of backing out of attending Darkover yet again, the day is a good one... I started with a bowl of leftover fruit salad and a slice of pumpkin pie as my birthday breakfast.

I'm 52. That's 12 years older than the doctors ever gave me and 14 years past the point at which my heart stopped and had to be repaired in order for me to live.

So see, it's a good day. :)
