Zack warned me that there was an additional scene after the very tail-end of the credits (as opposed to the additional scene towards the beginning of the credits) so we stayed to watch it even though he had told me what it was... and what he descirbed is in no way what we saw. So now I'm thinking there are different versions depending on theater (or individual film at each theatre).
We saw a pan-over of Three Mile Island and the destruction, then a sword sticking out from under a pile of rubble withdrew, a hand crept out, and edged its way to Ward's head, which opened its eyes, and with its mouth now functional again, said, "Shhhhhh...."
