Not gonna do it

stitchwhichBack in December, at our Unevent, I told our Kingdom Principle Herald that I was going to apply for her job when it came open later this year.
I have decided that I was blowing smoke up her gown.
Sure, with enough candle-burning and heavy study-cramming, I could get up to speed on rules and precedences and such. I'm smart and used to that sort of thing. And the admin side is right up my alley... but I'm too new to too much and I'd be doing the job a dis-service thinking that I'd be a better choice than someone else more grounded in the community.
I thought I'd better write that somewhere 'public' in case anyone else was sitting on their hands because of me. :)
