Last night I had an SCA heraldry client*, if one could call him such, approach me... with filled out paperwork, back-up copies of his name research he did by reading the reports from the Academy of St. Gabriel, and a blazon - not a drawing - for his proposed set of arms. A-freaking-mazing.
And he'd already attempted to do a conflict-check on both before he talked to me. He's brand-new in the SCA, doesn't even have garb yet.
That boy's a keeper.
