I send spam?

Huh. For the last couple of days I've been sending a list of medieval saint's names & stories to an academic list as the 'regular guy' is currently travelling. Tonight I tried it and got a pop-up window telling me that my message had been rejected as possible spam, and directing me to a website called "www.coxagainstspam.com" . It's a commercial site, and NOT a part of my cox cable server.
Damn. There will be a virus check on my computer in just a few minutes, right after I post this.
But I do wonder how it blocked my message to that list. Other messages are not triggering the pop-up window.
[edit: It is my server, Cox cable. I had to subscribe my web-based email account to the same List and send the message that way. I thought I'd made an error in sending as it didn't show up right away, so sent it again - message #1 showed up in the List's archives just after that, but not in my inbox (of course), while the resent copy of the message made it to both the List AND the inbox of my cox account. So I don't know. Arbitrary darned machines!]
