Especially the be-a-utiful long wooden ones in the welsh museum (clink the links on the page).
I *so* want to knit in the round and I will never, ever forgive myself for giving away my old one because I thought that would encourage me to learn to knit the same way as everyone else... and because when I gave it away, it was easy to find a replacement. Now - only by commission, and if not a woodworking friend (or husband), then it must be special-ordered from Britain.
