Just getting something for my pot

Boy, do my feet hurt. I had a lovely lunch with a friend and her cutie baby, and then I set off to find a lid for my camp cook kit. It's one of those backpacking style of kits, where the short-walled frying pans are inverted over the cooking pans in order to serve as a lid. That's great for when one is boiling something, but the reverse, big pot over short frying pan, is not-so-great. And that had been keeping me from being enthusiastic about using my oh-so-cool cooking kit (3 pots! 3 frying pans! a storage interior that held all of my spices!).
So off I went, to find a store that sold pot & pan lids seperately. Um, yeah. About that... I went to (not wanting to spend too much:
Walmart
Goodwill (it was next to Walmart)
the Dollar Tree (next to Goodwill)
Target
Farm Fresh, which doesn't sell pots & pans any more
K-mart
Bed, Bath & Beyond
Dollar General
and finally.... Big Lots. Where I did, actually, find a saucepan with a lid that would fit my medium-sized frying pan.
Good gravy. I walked next door to a different Farm Fresh, bought myself strawberries, grapes, and cherries, and now I am going to sit in our house and relax for a while!
