Well that was stupid

I went outside around 3:00am, without turning on the porch light. I'm very night-blind. (You can see where this is headed, can't you?) So I half-stepped off of the cement porch and the front of my foot sank in the soaking wet grass, causing my ankle to twist. Which, by virtue of the cascade effect, caused me to lose my balance and fall onto the cement porch - directly onto my left knee. Which is now swollen about half a size larger than the other knee. It hurts like the dickens, too. It did not help that I had to crawl to my car in the driveway in order to use it as a prop to get back up. (Yay, spinal fusion!)

I can't take anything for it as I'm midway between the preparation needed for my CT scan this morning. Motrin or Aspirin will have to wait until later on. I've been icing it off & on. I couldn't remember if ice should be on there full time. Oddly, it hurts behind my knee when I try to walk.
