A couple of days ago the shoe dropped and I remembered that I had experienced 'flu like' symptoms the last time I took this 'new' blood pressure medicine. The doc and I laughed about how I'd had such a weird reaction to it. He brought it up when he prescribed it this time (it works best) and I shrugged it off, saying, "If I wasn't so overweight and out of shape, I wouldn't need the bloody stuff, so I'll accept that it's the price I pay for laziness."

I'd forgotten that. So I went online and wrote to the company asking if they used yellow food coloring in their meds (I'd experienced the same reaction long ago to a generic BC-pill the military uses). Be darned if I didn't get a reply in less than 12 hours. Nope, they don't use dye in their pills.

Just now, I got another email from, not them, but a drug survey company that monitors reactions. They want to talk to me and my doc. Weird. But cool.

As long as they don't keep me on the phone doing a survey for hours...
