Weather report

Mt street is flooded. When Arni went to work, it was just barely covering the curb by our mailbox. That was an hour ago. It is now half-way up the yard. Okay, well, 3/4 up the yard. In all the years of storms, it has never flooded past the front porch (which is just a one-step slab before the door) but I'm a tad concerned... we flood last. I wonder if we can *get out* of Virginia Beach this afternoon? 58 floods much sooner than my neighborhood does.

Time to make some contingency-plan phone calls...
