I have no chin

I woke up this morning and felt horrid - then looked in the mirror and found that I have no chin. Yup. Throat is so swollen that I look like a linebacker who's gained too much weight. Head cold heading south, that's what it is. The constant thirst and the lack of umph over the last few days told me something was brewing but I thought I was fighting it off well. Huh. Guess it's time to call in the Sudafed and tylanol as back up. That'll kick it.
In the meanwhile, I've been getting far too much light reading and knitting done and not enough of anything else. I'm going to try to un-stuff my head enough to actually answer some email today. I hope I'm coherent. I have so little brain that whenever I get a head cold all the pressure squeezes all the smart right out of there.
EIDT: It's snowing! We are NOT driving across the bridge/tunnel to go to Tir-Y-Don's fighters practise. Not that *we* can't handle the conditions (will be icy), but we doubt the driving capabilities of the other folks on the road. It's a horrid spot to be stuck in traffic (except on sunny warm days when you can watch the water and the birdies...)
