Cut for health whining,

My chest hurts. It just hurts. I wish I hadn't turned down the painkillers but all Dr. Sal could think of was codeine-mixes, which wire me to Hades. The previous weeks of coughing weren't so painful as they were annoying (and the return of symptoms last suffered during pregnancy reminded me of how grateful I am that I'll never have a baby on my bladder for months on end ever again in this life).

But I'm whupped, sleeping too much and unable to sleep all at the same time, and my head is killing me. My chest is in a constant state of pain now and I can't meditate the tension away so my head and shoulders are vying for First Place in the pain contest. And again, tonight, it's cough-cough-cough... cry.

I just want this to end. I'm terrified about going to Coronation only to be unable to breathe and unable to leave and there is no way Arn will go without me - he's a big believer in 'you can bulldog through anything' and I just can't let him down.

But right now all I want to do is lay in bed and cry.

Hey, maybe this is that 'hit bottom, on your way up' point and everything will be better tomorrow. Yeah, that's it.

I downloaded a bunch of ringtones for my new phone. I have only a month to buy them from Sprint because then my free Internet access (which is now required for downloading Ringers and such) goes away at the end of the month and I have no desire to pay an additional $25 a month for it or $.03 per kb just to download ringers and 'while you wait' music.

My Horde Brothers got Eric Clapton's After Midnight, my oldest friends got Bolero because it was one of the things we used to blast out during set up/tear down for camps (there was no Carmina Buranga), my Youngest got the Chinese Dance from The Nutcracker (he used to be like the littlest mushroom in the movie "Fantasia" when he was a baby).

One protogee got Fur Elise because it was my favorite music-box tune, which I've never had in a music box, and it makes me smile every time I hear it. The other got Toccata and Fugue by Bach because it fits him so well since I couldn't re-download Vincent Price's Scary Laugh.

Arn got Annie's Song by John Denver (There will be NO pointing of fingers and laughing at me over that!) "Home" and Zack got Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin because Sprint happened to have a byte of my A-number-one favorite arrangement of it and I couldn't find anything better for Zack. I got tired of looking, actually, as most of the selections seem to be for either Latin or Afro-American cultural music selections and I am so very white-bread. Which explains all the Classical music. *sigh*

*grin* A couple of friends got Water Music (Hornpipe) since they are all members of a ship's company and a limited number got the great "pay attention to ME" Trumpet Voluntary. Canon in D, and Ein Klein Nachtmusik are scattered up and down my phone list. And Magnus, you still have Desert Rose. :)

But if anyone else is a sprint customer and can find any other good ringers, please don't hesitate to suggest them. I gots one month...
