I've deleted a previous post because of a couple of responses (my first time doing that!)... while I was making a general grouse based on more than one email thread, two responses assumed that it was based on one particular list and even aimed at one particular person. It was not, and I apologise to the (unnamed) person who thought I was targetting them. (I'd write your name, dear person, but then I'd have to 'lock' the list and that may mean that my apology won't reach every person who may have already read my previous entry.)

I was trying to ignore this but... I can't. It'd be rude.

1) I am introverted and it usually takes me three days of solitary time to recover from a SCA event.

2) I once had my artwork stolen by a man who owned a Graphics Studio and who sold it to a major fabric company. He was my mom's fiance. We learned about it when she bought a rug as a surprise for me "because it is so much like Terri's art" and it was actually one of my designs.

3) I sang in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for one year while I lived in Utah. Then I went to live with Catholic nuns for 3 years.

4) I once was a cross-country runner. And competed in gymnastics (floor ex, balance beam, horse).

5) I've stood on the lip of the crater of Mt. Kilauea and looked down into the smoking lava.

6) I shook hands with Bobby Kennedy when he was a Presidential candidate and even did door-to-door campaigning for him - and I was 11 years old at the time. All the adults I knew were backing 'that other guy' but I wanted a president who said, "Keep one foot on the ground and reach for the stars".
